Lagos Innovates understands that important role of ‘mentor capital’ at the very earliest venture stages. Risk capital, combined with meaningful and high-quality mentorship, significantly increases the chances of success of companies at the earliest stages.  Our co-investment scheme is intended to unlock funding challenges for founders and companies at the seed to very early revenue stages. We would like to see more angel/early stage investor appetite and capacity for these companies in Lagos State.

The Co-Investment program will make available matching funds to Lagos-based ventures backed by angels, incubators and/or similar investors on a case-by-case basis.

Lagos Innovates’ Co-Investment program will launch in 2018, at which time eligibility and application information will be made available.
